How it all started...
100 years ago, on a quiet evening in April, 1923, a small group of people got together to discuss the idea of forming a Presbyterian church in Ft Thomas, KY. The discussion was lively and a decision was made that night. Just two weeks later, the first gathering of FTFPC occurred at the Ft Thomas City Building with 28 charter members. On May 26, 1940, groundbreaking for the current church building on South Ft Thomas Avenue was held. New additions and the current pipe organ were added in the decades to follow. 12 pastors have served FTFPC over the last 100 years. Along the way we have created a community where inspiration to do greater good takes place, where deeper love is explored, and where enriching relationships occur.
Expanding the vision...
Today we are a vibrant community of Jesus followers looking forward to what the next 100 years at FTFPC will bring. We are a place of learning, both within the congregation and via the Wise Owl pre-school, which we host. We are a place of service, working to reduce homelessness through our support of Family Promise. We are preparing for change and growth, using technology to explore new ways to worship and serve Jesus
