FTFPC offers a broad range of opportunities to make a difference in our city, region, and beyond
FTFPC supports organizations where you can contribute an hour, a meal, a day, a week, or some dollars to change lives in the name of Jesus. Examples include:
Northern Kentucky Family Promise
Northern Kentucky Family Promise is a group of individuals, community leaders, faith communities, corporate partners and civic organizations all working together to change the lives of homeless and low-income families in Northern Kentucky by creating sustainable independence.
FPNKY is a sheltering program specifically designed for families. A maximum of four families, no more than fourteen individuals may be admitted to the program at one time.
FTFPC recognizes that any family can lose its home, and that it takes time to find affordable housing. We volunteer to help ease the crisis each family face by offering home cooked meals and hosting dinners in the evenings at Family Promise's residence in Covington, KY
Annual Mission Trip
Each summer, volunteers from FTFPC identify a location within drivable distance where support is needed. Past mission trips include helping people recover from tornadoes in Western Kentucky and Alabama, providing construction and recovery for survivors of super storms in New Jersey, and improving living conditions for rural residents in West Virginia.
International Support Outside the US
Via personal connections in Haiti and Togo, FTFPC has helped local residents improve sanitation, drinking water, reforestation, and agriculture
